Foundation Excursion - Tuesday 3rd, May 2016

What a day it was! Grey skies with wild winds. Yet this was not enough to dampen the spirits of Foundation students. There were smiles as broad as the horizon on everyone's face. The excitement could hardly be contained. It was as if Foundation was roaring with joy and cheers. For we were off to the cinemas to see: The Jungle Book.

Our first stop was the cinemas. We filled in for our popcorn treats and slowly made our way into the theater. After a short commercial round, the much-anticipated movie came to screen. The room went silent.

Next stop was the Hume Library. Helen the librarian was ready waiting with the latest and greatest storybooks at hand. The floor was packed with little Foundation bears, tigers, lions and the like. Our imaginations sprung into action and suddenly we were transported into the world of stories.
